Edmondstown Golf Club began as a 9-hole course on a Dublin Mountains dairy farm.

Established in 1944 by the Maccabean Golfing Society. Recent upgrades, including a modern clubhouse and a shop, set it as a thriving hub for golf enthusiasts in South Dublin.
The Control HQ System (formerly Genius Hub) is controlling all the radiators on site. In addition, it is also controlling the ventilation fans and car park lights to offer savings on both gas and electricity.

How did you control your heating before?
Prior to the installation of the Control HQ System, the control of our heating system was limited to controlling some small areas by thermostats while other areas required manual control of each individual radiator. The main boiler was controlled by a timeclock which could only be changed manually.
What was your main consideration before purchasing the Control HQ system?
While we had a new and more efficient gas boiler, excess gas was being consumed due to our inability to limit the heating to specific zones and times without manually adjusting all the heaters in the building. We required the ability to control zones and even individual radiators remotely and instantaneously.
What do you feel contributed most to your decision to buy Control HQ?
The personal and hands-on customer support provided by Gaia Smart Energy played a major role in the businesses decision to purchase the Genius Hub system.
What do you like about the system?
The easy-to-use app where you can control zones or even individual radiators is a major advantage of the system where the heating settings can be updated instantly from your computer or mobile device from any location.
How much have you saved to date on your energy bills, as a result of having the Control HQ system installed?
We are still awaiting our first bill but we expect significant savings.
How user-friendly do you find the system?
The system is extremely intuitive and easy to use, particularly the app. Furthermore, while customers or staff can temporarily override individual radiators, they cannot permanently change the settings which revert to programmed settings after a short period.
How would you rate your experience with Gaia Smart Energy, and would you recommend our company to others?
The service provided by Gaia was second to none with a company representative available at all times both during installation and afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending Gaia Smart Energy.
