Leaks In Underfloor Heating System

When air becomes trapped in your underfloor heating pipes, this can result in one or more of your heating zones failing to heat up. Issues like blocked pipes are easy to identify as the floor in that area will feel cold to the touch.

If your system is experiencing this issue, we can resolve it by flushing out each affected pipe to ensure there are no blockages remaining.

Trapped Air in Pipes

Leaks in your underfloor heating system can lead to many issues if left undiscovered, such as trapped air, water damage to your flooring and a noticeable reduction in the heating system’s pressure.

Identifying a leak in your underfloor heating system can be done using a thermal imaging camera and by carrying out a pressure test to pinpoint where the issue is coming from.

Poor installation

During the installation of underfloor heating, problems can arise if the system is not fitted properly. Common issues with the underfloor heating installation process can range from a lack of adequately testing the system before completing installation, to electrical wiring issues.

If tests aren’t carried out on your underfloor heating system before the installation is complete, this can result in problems arising later, which may result in additional costs and unnecessarily high energy bills.

Faulty Underfloor Heating Pumps
