Does the Salus RT510RF need wiring?
The thermostat itself runs on 2 x AA batteries, so it needs no wiring and can be placed wherever suits the room. The receiver is wired to a 230V supply and switches your heating through its L/N/COM/NO terminals. We recommend the receiver is fitted by a qualified installer.
How far can the thermostat be from the receiver?
The RT510RF has a wireless communication range of up to 30 metres.
Can I use it with underfloor or electric heating?
Yes. The RT510RF is suitable for underfloor heating and electric heating, and the receiver provides a volt-free output.
How many do I need?
One RT510RF per room or heating zone that you want to control separately.
Can I control the RT510RF from my phone?
No. The RT510RF is programmed on the thermostat itself. For phone and app control, choose the Salus Smart range.
Does it have frost protection?
Yes, frost protection is built in, along with manual override and memory back-up.
